Logging Road Maze (PDF): Help the logging truck get to the mill. Since logging was often done far from the mill, the logs had to be transported a long way. In the old days logs were pulled by horses to “landings” near a river and the logs were floated to the mill. In modern times the logs were placed on trucks and driven to the mill. The roads were often narrow, winding and far from the mill.
